The Harvey Projector

(Courtesy of Cris Wetton) A Harvey Projector was a mount for aiming and firing four (?) anti-aircraft rockets. It was made especially for ships and was a quick and easy way of adding AA protection to vessels not strong enough to take conventional AA guns. Somewhere, I have a copy of a cartoon about the dangers of standing in the wrong place when the Harvey is fired. It shows an apoplectic admiral, minus trousers and underwear.
